The HDA focuses on the development of the public health workforce through a variety of means in order to ensure the delivery of health improvement. This is achieved through the development of the evidence base on public health and the translation of that evidence into both policy and practice. Evidence is channelled into policymaking through direct policy comment and facilitation and support of the implementation of public health policy.
