Managing your site

Our customers will all tell you that their sites are information driven.  For trade associations this means giving vistors access to press releases, circulars or policy & research papers; for investment managers its giving their customers access to price & performance data or portfollio information.  This means that are customers primary management requirement is to keep the information on the site up to date.  All our sites are built around xtraEdit which means our customers can edit, add or delete information securly and through a browser with no specialist software or skills required.  xtraEdit is a scalable content manager allowing for multiple authors, editors & publishers each with differnt roles and authorities in managing the site.  So for example an author may create a new page by entering content - text, graphics, links etc - into a predefined template; their editor may then amend and approve this page before the publish finaly releases it to the site.

Managing your members

Xtranets member relationship management (MRM) service allows trade associations and other member based organisations to manage their membership base - member details, subscription, renewals & applications - through a secure area of the website.  For many representative bodies this has meant a huge reduction in administration time and cost as members can service themselves. 

Training

Xtranet have long recognised the importance of giving our customers the skills to mange their sites.  We seek to develop effective partnerships with customers taking day to day charge of site administration and us supporting at a technical or design level through regualr reviews and our helpdesk.  We provide full training and support for your sites management systems; from the basic "introduction to xtraEdit" course right up to full administrator & developer level training.
